Chemical Composition: Carbon (C) ≤ 0.25%, Silicon (Si) ≤ 0.40%, Manganese (Mn) 0.80%-1.20%, Phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.04%, Sulfur (S) ≤ 0.05%, Copper (Cu) ≥ 0.20% (when copper-containing steel is specified).
Mechanical Properties:
Yield Strength ≥ 250 MPa (some data may reach 360 MPa, which may decrease with increasing thickness); Tensile Strength 400 MPa-550 MPa; Elongation ≥ 20% (some data may be ≥ 23%). Furthermore, the impact energy is ≥ 27 J at -20°C, making it resistant to brittle fracture at low temperatures.
Performance

Excellent Processability:
Easy to cut, drill, weld, and form, it can be joined using various welding methods, including arc welding, gas welding, and resistance welding, with excellent joint performance. Moderate Strength and Toughness: It offers a high load-bearing capacity, meeting the load-bearing requirements of general structures. It can also undergo significant plastic deformation before fracture, contributing to improved structural toughness and safety.
Good Corrosion Resistance: Controlled chemical composition, such as low phosphorus and sulfur content, reduces the risk of corrosion. Surface treatment allows for adaptability to a variety of environments.
Delivery Condition:
The default delivery condition is hot-rolled, but controlled-rolled, normalized, or normalized-rolled delivery conditions can be selected based on customer needs to meet varying performance requirements.
Applications
Construction:
Used in the manufacture of load-bearing components such as beams, columns, steel plates, and steel frames for buildings. It is also commonly used in bridge construction, such as highway and railway bridges.
Machinery:
Used in the manufacture of large motors, housings and bases for various pumps, as well as bearing seats, gears, mining equipment, excavators, cranes, and other mechanical components.
